There is a direct daily flight from Christchurch to Wanaka, or 6 hours driving time. Wanaka is approximately 3 hours by road from Dunedin and 2 hours from Haast on the West Coast. Queenstown airport offers direct connections to Christchurch and Auckland, and direct flights from Sydney during the ski season. Wanaka Connexions runs a shuttle transfer from Queenstown airport. If driving from Christchurch, Dunedin or the West Coast, travel into the township of Wanaka and follow Ardmore St along the lake front. Continue on for 1km, turn left into McDougall St, right into Aspiring Terrace then left into Stone St - look for the large white pots at the top of the hill - Villa South Pacific is no. 155. If arriving from Queenstown via the Crown Range Road, as you come into the outskirts of Wanaka, turn left into Stone St (just after BaseCamp Mountain Adventure Centre).
